Beech Wood Smoking Plank for BBQ

Preparation before use

To optimize aroma diffusion, soak the plank in water for 1 to 2 hours minimum — overnight with a weight is ideal. Personalize the experience by adding wine to the soaking water. Pre-searing your ingredients further intensifies the smoky flavors.

Instructions: direct & indirect heat

Start by briefly exposing the wet plank over a direct heat zone until the bottom blackens and emits smoke. Flip it over, then move it to an indirect heat zone. Place your food on the previously heated side, close the lid and let the smoke penetrate deeply. Adjust the duration according to desired intensity. A covered barbecue is recommended for better aroma retention.

Care & reuse

This plank can be reused multiple times. After each session, rinse it with warm water using a soft brush. Dry thoroughly with a cloth before storing.
